About us
When you combine a long standing passion for photography with many years crafting wood and a love of the great outdoors it seemed to be a natural step for us to take when we decided to form Naturename.
The reasoning behind the title for the site is best described as what we saw as a combination of Mother nature and Human nature as our photos are either letter shapes that have been formed by nature itself. or have been taken from the designs and architecture of mankind and so are shaped by human nature.
Gathering together the pictures for our site has been full of surprises with many days spent looking for picture opportunities in areas that on first impression had us believing that we would be ending the day with a sackful of letters for our gallery,only to be disappointed with little or nothing to show after many hours of walking,but thankfully those days were often followed by what seemed to be an unpromising location producing some stunning pictures.
